I side with several people who believe that those who do not engage with social media will hinder themselves from future career development. This will be proven by discussing the benefits of social media, such as catering for your need for ideas and innovations if used wisely, and giving you a wide selection of job vacancies in your desired fields.

It is common nowadays to hear people decrying the number of choices people have relative to the past and proclaiming the drawbacks of so many easily-available options in a variety of areas of life. While I think that there is some truth in this, increased choice is ultimately a positive trend because it opens up options outside the mainstream.

Nevertheless, some love to stay where they have born, mostly due to the emotional attachments. Such a decision has advantages as well as disadvantages. The purpose of this essay is to analyse them in detail.
