Some people propose that smoking should be banned completely instead of only in public areas. What is your opinion?

22 May RE:
Mrs
Mary Sands, DOB: 15 December 1942 Dear
Mrs
Lane I am writing to introduce
Mrs
Mary Sands, who had undergone a left open reduction internal fixation
due to
a fall. She is set to be discharged today and will be needing your rehabilitation care and monitoring.
Initially
, she presented with a fractured left femoral neck and confirmed by an x-ray. Her surgery has been uneventful,
however
, she had confusion and hallucinations post-operatively because of intravenous morphine.
Subsequently
, she commenced Co-codamol, 30mg/500mg once a day for alleviating her pain. Her neurovascular findings are normal and her hallucinations were stopped. Currently,
Mrs
Sand's physical mobility progress is better, she had started her physio and can independently do lower extremities exercises. It is worth mentioning that she had constipation and has been on Movicol as needed. It is worth mentioning that she had osteoporosis since 2011 and has been managed with Alendronate 10mg daily. It would be grateful if you could continue her physio programme for 11 days. Please monitor her medications and constipation.
Additionally
, she requires a toilet raiser,wheelie-walker and elevated chair cushion and take note to assess her fall risk. It is highly appreciated if you could give advice in regard to her diets
such
as high-protein and calcium-rich nutrition.
Further
, encourage her to do leisure activities. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me anytime. Yours sincerely, Nurse

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
