some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some infomation is too important or too valueable to be shared freely.

People
have differing views on whether it is good to share
information
about the
research
of the academic world with the public. While some
people
say it is good to share as much
information
as possible, others tend to think some
data
need to remain classified. On the one hand, publishing all the input from the
research
can help
people
to understand the
research
better. If
people
see that
research
is supported by actual
data
which can be seen and checked, they are more likely to trust the outcomes of the analysis.
For example
, if a business shares all the
information
about its financials and gives a proper presentation about the analysis of
this
data
, more investors are likely to cooperate with it.
On the other hand
, there is always some
data
in every
research
or business that should not be accessible to everyone. Many
people
might try to use
this
valuable
information
to their advantage. In the case of scientific
research
,
this
leads to the publication of articles based on the
data
that has been released.
This
can
also
happen to a business.
For instance
, if
data
about the details of their sales or profits are shared, it might cause them trouble with their customers or shareholders.
Moreover
, sometimes the
information
that scientific projects are working with is quite complex and ordinary
people
cannot understand and analyze it.
Therefore
, publishing it would lead to misunderstandings for a lot of
people
. In conclusion, while it can be good to share
information
as much as possible, I believe many cases contain important
data
that should not be shared with the public easily.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
