have different opinions on whether schools focus on teaching

together as a team. While some

believe that competition is more important,

consider that it is better for

to learn to cooperate with each other. On the one hand,
children
who learn to compete against each other often do better in school, according to some.
In other words
, competition between students motivates them to excel in their studies or task which
consequently
produces better academic results.

people
may vary in their opinions, I think that
children
stand a better chance to succeed both in school and later in life if they are encouraged to compete against each other.
