 are the most important discovery in medical history. Today, these are used for the treatment of infectious diseases caused by germs and bacteria. But they don't work for
infections
 caused by viruses,
such
 as the common cold, flu, runny nose, and coughs. there are many types of
antibiotics
 for various diseases. like most drugs,
antibiotics
 have some bad points too.
However
, they are the most prevalent and effective medications. if you misuse or overdose on
antibiotics
, they may affect your digestive system by causing vomiting, nausea, diarrhoea, loss of appetite etc. And these happen in around one in ten
people
.
In addition
 , there is an estimation which reveals that there are about one million
people
 who were killed by
antibiotics
' side effects directly. At least 23000
people
 die each year because of these drugs. But we are still relying on them Because they have been saving more
people
 than killing since its
first
 patent in 1910. Some
people
 call that "treasure". According to a survey of the U.S. government. antibacterial agents cab save over 200000 American lives annually. there are many types of
infections
 that
antibiotics
 can heal, including some ear and sinus

, dental or skin

, strep throat, bladder and kidney

, whooping cough etc. They kill bacteria or prevent them from reproducing and spreading. another reason we use
antibiotics
 is related to their flexible prices. Some of them are cheap and accessible for anyone, while some are too expensive
People
 tend to take cheap ones. On the other ,hand low-costed things have no quality sometimes. In ,conclusion everything has its backfire. If we can aware of the side effects of medication, they will serve our bodies appropriately, quickly and effectively. We should consume them with a prescription or doctor's instruction.
