Some people say that advertising is extremely successful at persuading us to buy things. Other people think that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

In today’s world, impressive amounts of products are manufactured and distributed. Because of
this
, advertising has a huge place in our lives. One may think that it affects our choices of buying items, while others say that it’s not effective anymore because of repetition.
This
essay will discuss both opinions and show why advertising strategies are able to reach their aims. As I mentioned, advertising is highly successful according to some people. One reason for
this
is the exposure we have to society. We tend to influence other people’s purchases. Influencers are the perfect example of
this
because they are being used in advertisements and their choices are affecting our rate of purchasing. Other than
this
, there are some scientific developments regarding advertising, which affect our subconscious. Companies use tactics to reach deeper parts of our minds and make us buy products normally we wouldn’t purchase.
On the other hand
, some people think that seeing all these commercials make us irritated and that we buy fewer items nowadays. Watching the same advertisement over and over again can be extremely boring to most people and actually screen time for most commercials is being reduced over time.
Also
, there are some billboards and flyers which are quite basic and one may find them unattractive.
This
problem is
also
related to the frequency of advertisements because quality drops when there is a fast-paced production. Advertising is a famous topic in
this
era and there are two main ideas whether it is successful or not. In my opinion, we tend to get affected and purchase more these days because of the two facts above. It is clear to see
this
result by looking at overconsumption and capitalism.
