The pie charts show the shares of destroying methods of waste in three different countries, namely recycling, incineration, underground, chemical treatment, and dumping at sea.
Overall
, five different programs are chosen to get rid of waste materials by three countries. Underground is the most prominent share in Sweden and in the United Kingdom,
while
recycling outnumbers in Korea. In the first diagram, it is observed that the most significant amount of the garbage is recycled,
whereas
incineration is the least preferred technique to deal with waste in Korea. The remaining 22% of the rubbish is buried in the soil. In comparison, the share of underground accounts for the highest proportion (55%),
while
eradication by using fire is selected as the
last
option in Sweden. (20%) The third figure illustrates five different ways to cope with the debris in the United Kingdom. Putting the garbage under the ground has the most percentage among the other methods with four-fifths. Chemical treatment and dumping at sea share the same proportion and together comprise roughly %15 of preferred options,
whereas
incineration forms only 2%.
