Some people claim that there are more disadvantages to having a car than its advantages. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of having a car.

In recent years, the world has seen an unprecedented increase in the number of
people
owning
cars
. It is argued that being in a private
car
has more drawbacks
instead
of benefits.
Therefore
, being an own automobile might be disadvantageous in some aspects. I am of the opinion that it is highly likely to have plenty of drawbacks on
this
statement. On the one hand, the possession of automobiles has significantly risen in the
last
decades.
To begin
with, there are myriad benefits to having a
vehicle
. The one obvious advantage of getting a
car
gives to freedom to commute anywhere you need to.
This
is because, if you lead a hectic lifestyle or if you are busy like a bee, a
car
can make your life so much easier. Another benefit of having a personal
car
can give comfort to individuals who want to sit in their comfort zone.
For instance
,
people
can read books or listen to their favourite songs on their own machines.
However
, all seems to be impossible by means of public transport.
On the other hand
, owning autos has a significant influence on the environment.
Furthermore
, the main drawback is that the growth in travelling by auto can lead to going up pollution, traffic jams and accidents.
This
is because more disasters will be in
cars
rather than in other vehicles.
For example
, traffic accidents have increased sharply within a year.
Furthermore
, driving your own
vehicle
can lead to going up in pollution,
for instance
, many
people
using a
vehicle
, it means plenty of
cars
on the road and it will bring out to heavy traffic jams and accidents more
cars
can highly likely result in an increasing rate of pollution.
Nonetheless
, nowadays many
people
use a
car
which means there are myriad disadvantages to getting your own
vehicle
. Taking everything into account, there have both cons and pros to having an automobile.
However
, I strongly believe that there are quite a lot of disadvantages to that trend like vehicles have a detrimental effect on the environment.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
