In some countries an increasing number of people are suffering from health problems as a result of eating too much fast food. It is therefore necessary for government to impose a higher tax on this kine of food. To what extent do you agree or disagree whit this opinion.

It is debatable on the notion the government has to impose higher taxes on fast
food
. Fast
food
is unhealthy and people consuming it in larger amounts will run into several health issues. In my opinion, Fast
food
is fun but outstrips a healthy lifestyle when one chooses to intake it more often.
Firstly
, Fast
food
is famous in most countries and is available right from street
food
trucks to premium restaurants. Most of the restaurants which have good business will choose to work on pre-processed or frozen
food
while
cooking to cater faster service. These pre-processed foods have different edible chemicals which in long run show serious side effects on people's health.
Secondly
, In some ,countries fast
food
is prepared on a wheelbarrow with little cooking equipment. As these are low-budget platforms, the oil would be reused. The reused oil does not provide any minerals as the nutrients in the oil will deteriorate upon each time of usage. The
food
prepared will get into contact with the air and pollution dropping bacteria onto the
food
. In my opinion, It is teenagers who are more inclined to fancy foods. They tend to eat more with the encouragement of their peer group and when wanted to look flashy on social media. As they are the future generations, it is important to educate the side effects of fast
food
by their parents and teachers. Effective measures should be taken to increase awareness of healthy lifestyles in society. To put it in a nutshell, I pen down saying that,
Although
, fast
food
is unhealthy imposing higher taxes specifically on the fast
food
chains is a little too far as it would affect all the small-scale businesses and people's life.
