In modern society, some
people
think that arts have a special meaning to our lives and future
while
others claim that it does not play an important role in life. In my opinion, I believe that arts are more than entertainment and cannot be denied their vulnerable value. Some
people
think that
art
is just a thing for
people
to escape reality. in some cases,
art
can be an object,
such
as music or an article, or a human being.
People
may worship an idol who is a singer or actor than an item. Fans would take a lot of time to watch idols’ performances or even follow their daily schedule.
In addition
, news once reported that children would support idols financially in order to have a close relationship.
That is
a way for them to run away from the pressures of school or friends.
On the other hand
,
art
can be a song or a painting which is an iconic symbol of memory. Take me as an example. When I was a child, my grandmother used to sing me a song named Bu-Ku which means a sound of a bird. Every time when I hear
this
song after she passes away, it always reminds me of the quality time I spend with her.
Moreover
, Bu-Ku
also
represented an unforgettable memory between me and my grandmother. Other than that, drawing a painting about Bu-Ku is a way for me to honour my grandmother. For the reason mentioned above,
although
some
people
identify
art
are useful. But for me, without a doubt, arts are a meaningful treasure in our life.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
