News stories on Tv and in newspapers are very often accompanied by pictures. Some people say that these pictures are more effective than words. What is your opinion about this?

Usually, the
news
is printed and telecasted with photographs. Some people have an opinion that these
pictures
are more imperative than only verbal or written information related to the same.
However
, I believe that both are equally important to convince audiences in terms of
news
.  The main purpose of the
news
is to attract more people. It is only possible with some kind of colourful attracted
pictures
related to the story.
Moreover
, it
also
serves as a long-lasting memory because it is easy to capture an image as compared to words. It
also
works with children as they get bored very easily. So, adding colour to the
news
is interesting for children to keep them with the report.
For instance
, pages on social media have more followers than those who inculcate attractive media to data as compared to those who have only explanations for its information.
However
, only
pictures
cannot help to get enough out of the data.
Pictures
and alphabetical work together as
pictures
tell the authenticity of the
news
and written words or audio give the detailed advice associated with it. Adding more to it,
pictures
with report help to find interesting
news
in newspapers and
accordingly
will have more details of the incident which explain the circumstances of the incident that story is about. In conclusion, audio-visuals both works together to attract people and to make advice viral. Only
pictures
will give half the information,
whereas
, words serve boring and difficult to retain the reader for a long time.
