in Sweden
and The United Kingdom are handled underground, while
recycling is the most commonplace in the Republic of Korea.
Looking at the details, the underground method accounts for 55% and 82% respectively in Sweden
and The UK, whereas
this
figure is much smaller in the Republic of Korea, at 22%. By contrast
, the proportion of products
dealt with recycling in Korea is nearly triple that in Sweden
.
It is noticeable that The UK handles these waste products
in ways that the other 2 countries do not do, including dumping at sea and chemical treatment, which make up 10% of the total products
