Some people believe that education is the key to tackling hunger worldwide while others feel that the answer is in food aid. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Many people believe that enlighting people with an advanced schooling system is the answer to the
problem
of
hunger
around the world. Others argue that sending
food
and other commodities as a form of
aid
is the solution.
While
in some
countries
food
aid
is the sole way of alleviating the
problem
of
hunger
, I will argue that empowering
education
can be the key to accomplishing
this
problem
worldwide. One main argument in favour of sending
food
aid
to tackle the issue of
food
deprivation points to the chaotic situation of some
countries
. Most
countries
subjected to famine are often struggling with either invasion from a foreign country or a civil war making them unsuitable for any civil investment on
education
infrastructure.
This
has led to the exhaustion of almost all assisting options other than sending humanitarian
aid
to help the people of these
countries
stay alive. Sudan,
for example
, which has experienced unstoppable civil war over the
last
decade, registered the most death by
hunger
and
due to
the situation, the only means of helping the citizens is by directly sending
food
and necessary goods.
Hence
, the condition of some
countries
prevents any development of
education
, and
therefore
humanitarian
aid
is the mere possible option.
However
, I would argue that in the majority of instances, improvement in the schooling system can lead to the eradication of starvation. The reason is improvement in the number of intellectuals present in a community would result in job creation and a decrease in the unemployment rate leading to a better economy. Take China,
for instance
, where the primary foreign investment in

system has now given fruit and made
this
country one of the major economic powers with almost no famine
problem
.
By contrast
, those nations that have not improved their
education
still struggled with starvation in their country.
To conclude
, in spite of some unstable cases where investing in school systems is not possible, I would argue that enriching the tutoring sector is the most efficient approach towards the issue of worldwide
hunger
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
