You have heard about a plan to build new apartments in a public park near your home. You want to give your opinion about this. Write a letter to the local council . In your letter: ➢ Explain how you and your family use the park ➢ explain why the park is important for the local society ➢ Describe the possible effects on local people if the park is destroyed?
Dear
sir
/madam,
I am writing with regard to the proposed project of replacing a public Capitalize word
Sir
park
with an apartment complex.
First,
I would like to stress how much important this
park
is to me.
My family and I daily use the park
to walk and do the
exercise. Correct article usage
apply
Whereas
my kids love to play there with their other friends.
I also
believe that this
park
has an integral role in other society people. As I saw many senior citizens, teenagers and adults there during the evening doing different activities. This
place holds a very special significance in every age group.
If you do abolish this
place then
local communities will be lost a treasury worth place which they use in their day-to-day life and it leads to negative effects on an individual’s physical and mental health.
I hope you will consider these factors before making any decision.
Yours faithfully.
