Some people think that public libraries are no longer important, while others disagree.  Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Nowadays,
libraries
 are no longer useful for the majority of
people
 because of the ease and convenience of the
Internet
, so
people
 can search for all the information on their
devices
 anywhere and anytime,
others

 still play an important role in helping some

 at home. On the one hand, nowadays

 believe that public
libraries
 are not important anymore because of the convenience of the

 I mean the vast majority of

 have their own

 to
devices
 like computers or smart gadgets in their own homes so they do not have to go to the
libraries
 to find information on
books
 and research anymore.
For example

according to
 the latest survey conducted by Bangkok University, it is revealed that 95% of students who study in the geological department have their own laptops with the
Internet
, so they can search the information online when they have to deal with their reports or assignments. It is evident that the
Internet
 helps them with a number of tasks they are assigned by their professors and they can achieve the goal. Public
libraries
 are not important anymore and should not exist in any city to be able to save costs and use the funds to develop other facilities.
On the other hand
, others including myself, disagree with those who think that
libraries
 should be eliminated from the cities because it is still important and useful to
people
 who do not have
access
 to wifi and
devices
 at home. By
this
 I mean
people
 who do not have
access
 to the
Internet
 will have a chance to use the computers in the
libraries
also
people
 who like reading physical
books
 or newspapers can go to borrow
books
 and magazines including CDs and learning packages from their local
libraries
. To illustrate
this
, the research reported by the Bangkok Librariy team, it is revealed that 80% of their members are elderly and children who go to the library as they need help dealing with modern technology and learning how to use computers and the
Internet
. If we do not have public
libraries
 for them, they will not have any help with their problem. In conclusion, some
people
 believe that public
libraries
 are no longer important for
people
 because most
people
 have
devices
 and they can read
books
 from an online source ,
while
 others and I think that
libraries
 are still useful to
people
 who have no
access
 to the
Internet
 at home or some book lovers and children who like to read with physical
books
.
