Some people think that the role of parent is to discipline their children and teach them about right and wrong. Other people consider that the main responsibility of parents is to nature their children and provide them with a safe environment to grow up in. Discuss both sides and give your opinion

Parents
have a primary
role
in nurturing and growing their
children
. Some
people
believe that the
role
of
parents
is to teach them how to be well-adjusted individuals,
while
other
people
believe the crucial
role
of
parents
is to support them with a secure
environment
. I firmly believe that both sides are the main functions of responsible
parents
. In the following, I will elaborate more on why I believe that. One of the crucial factors that contribute
children
to being more polite and well-behaved
people
by having
parents
always correct their mistakes. It is essential for
parents
to teach
children
how to behave in a correct manner in every situation in their lives.
Parents
spend more time with
children
and almost are the
role
models of their
parents
hence
they have a great influence on their personalities. It is crucial for
parents
to correct their wrongdoing behaviours, instil valuable lessons
as well as
give them more attention and mentor their behaviours. If
children
learn how to be disciplined that would influence their future lives.
In other words
, they will be more successful and respectful
people
because they already learned how to behave in the correct way in every situation. Another important function for
parents
by providing their
children
with a safe and secure
environment
that they need to grow in. In fact,
children
who come from dysfunctional families are prone to be less sociable, emotionally empty, and less successful compared with ones who live in close-knit families. The
environment
in which
children
live plays a vital
role
in shaping
children
's personality.
Hence
, the first important step for
parents
by guarantee a suitable
environment
for their
children
to nurture them without any difficulties.
To conclude
, the roles of
parents
are not limited to disciplining their
children
and correcting their mistakes but
also
providing them with ample and secure places to raise and grow up. I firmly believe that
parents
should instil values in their
children
and provide them with a suitable place to live in.
