The diagram illustrates the procedure for reprocessing
plastic
bottles.
Overall
, it can be seen that
this
is a cyclic man-made process, containing 9 stages.
The first step is
collecting and transporting the waste, followed by processing it and
then
converting it into a new material from which
plastic
bottles are made again and ready for a
further
cycle. First of all, garbage is collected from trash bins and transferred by trucks to recycling centres. After that, the staff is sorting the litter, sending the suitable one for compression and it is
then
turned into compact blocks. The latter is smashed in a special devise into smaller pieces which need to be purified in a washing tank. After that, the little pieces are put in a machine that transforms them into even smaller
plastic
pellets. The next step regards a heating process of the mass where raw material is produced and
then
packed and stored.
This
substance is used for
plastic
objects production and once they're thrown away, the whole process of recycling can start again.
