The maps compare and contrast the ground floor of a public library between 2001 and 2009. In general, There was not any massive construction for the floor, but spectacular changes in space replacement. It can be seen from the map that the only things that completely still remained were stairs, the entrance, the librarian's space, and tables with a small change from the square form in 2001 to a rectangle shape in 2009. It is
also
interesting to note that there was a new set of computers in front of the stairs in 2009.
While
the newspapers and periodicals area was replaced by the films and DVDs section. Moving on to the books sections,
overall
there were new genre additions which were economics and law in the northern section of the book collections.
Moreover
, the nearest book's category to the librarian's desk changed to history and fiction in 2009. Meanwhile, self-help and kitchen spaces were constructed in the middle of the collections.
However
, the fiction publication was reallocated and replaced by Children's Corner.
