Some people think that it is important to have a single language as an official international language. Others think that it will make it difficult to identify countries and cause a loss of culture. what is your opinion on this?

Few topics are more important than communication and
language
matters, and the issue of having a single
language
will probably always be controversial.
Although
communicating with a single international
language
has its proponents, in my opinion, individual national
languages
are the only road to achieving different
cultures
. Nations create their identity and history
according to
their
cultures
which is covey through their domestic
languages
. By
this
, we mean that each country has a different exclusive specificity which is crucial to keep it. An example can be seen, in moral lessons with a pithy maxim which can be informed to society via their local
language
and provided that any community missed their domestic
language
, they would lose their past and rich cultural values.
Furthermore
, many national subjects
such
as traditions, institutions and social cohesions are maintained and preserved by national
languages
.
For example
, in each state, there are many rituals or ceremonies which should be performed in specific
languages
. By
this
, we mean that
languages
are the one thing that can transmit some heritage to the next generations. Having a single
language
as an official international
language
indeed has a lot of virtues and it can be more suitable for societies to better contribute to other states, despite having a single
language
as an official
language
will lose tradition, beliefs and symbolic value. In conclusion, a single
language
will preserve, maintain and hand out national
cultures
and identities to the next generations
however
having an international
language
would be effective but it is not an appropriate route to conserve local
cultures
.
