The two maps below show an island, before and after the construction of some tourist facilities.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The maps display how an island had looked previously like and how it looked like after a tourist company constructed a whole bunch of new houses of accommodation and a pier.
Overall
, the shape and silhouette of the land stayed pretty much the same.
In addition
, it looked the same except the 17 new buildings, six of which were the accommodations on the west side of the island, surrounding two trees, were in site,
whereas
nine of the same houses were in a circular form on a little bit eastside of the centre. The remainder constructions were the reception which is located in the centre,
moreover
serves as the bridge to access all areas for accommodators, and the restaurant which was located on the north side of the reception. The most noticeable aspect of
this
construction work is the fact that they did not chop down or harm any trees. In fact, even though a tree was an obstacle to the plan,
instead
of cutting down the tree, a better solution was found which was to move the three out of the site without actually harming it. Apart from that, a new pier that allowed people to sail was accessible.
Also
, the footpaths that connected the accommodations and the beach to each other are created,
as well as
the vehicle paths that surround the reception and connect both the restaurant and the pier.
