it is important for people to take risks, both in their professional lives and their personal lives. Do you think the advantages of taking risks outweigh the disadvantages?

Currently, living a normal life usually seems to be hanging on a thread at every moment. There are a great number of difficult decisions that need to be made as a turning point in our future. Deciding to confront the challenges sometimes might create an opportunity.
However
, the risky choice might
also
have some drawbacks, which are tough to deal with.
Therefore
, I am personally inclined to believe that taking
risks
in both working and personal lives provides more advantages than disadvantages. Perhaps, higher risky choices
also
bring deciders a rare opportunity if they can overwhelm them. To illustrate, all financial investments will pay back more profit following their risk. If the investor accepts the risk, it is possible to be better.
Moreover
, not only the opportunity, but challenges can
also
improve our potential to manage them, which will be one of the important experiences.
For instance
, it is the fact that a huge project might have significantly more problems to solve, which is unavoidable to take more
risks
. But every single knot has been untied, we instantly learn to deal with it. Thereby, it might be true that taking
risks
gives more merits to the taker.
Nevertheless
, some opponents might argue that challenging decisions may lead to conflict in life.
For example
, in the COVID-19 situation, not a few entrepreneurs were bankrupted, after they had invested in the wrong business.
Although
this
consequence has usually occurred since
then
, it cannot be denied that taking
risks
with good thinking can avoid the failure of the decision.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
