There is a trend that many cities are going to use buildings to replace farmlands and parks. From my perspective, I hold a negative view that the drawbacks are overweight the positive effects.

Past years have witnessed a great transformation in urban land use where parks and farmlands are generally replaced by houses. From my perspective, the disadvantages of this change outweigh its advantages.
While some cities try to keep as many green spaces as possible, many cities choose to replace those with houses to accommodate more citizens. This could result in a negative development rather than a positive one.
