Smacking children is the best form of discipline. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Smacking children
has become
Suggestion
have become
a
favored
preferred above all others and treated with partiality
favoured
form
of
discipline
amongst society. Parents believe that
this
form
of
discipline
shows the greatest improvement in a
child
’s
behavior
manner of acting or controlling yourself
behaviour
.
This
essay will argue why smacking is an unnecessary
method
in
Suggestion
of
controlling a
child
’s manner. Many parents argue that beating their children is the best
method
of
discipline
. They believe that
this
is the only way
in
Suggestion
of
fixing a
child
with a bad attitude. Some studies have shown that
this
is true. These studies state that children who have been exposed to
batteringhave
seemed more obedient. They have even shown a great enhancement in
demeanor
(behavioral attributes) the way a person behaves toward other people
demeanour
in those who previously did not
recieve
get something; come into possession of
receive
beatings. These reported cases have increased the parents’ stand in that smacking children is the perfect
form
of
discipline
. Despite all these studies performed on disciplining a
child
by means of smacking, the idea that
this
is the best
method
is completely absurd. Far more studies have been done on the outcome of these children being battered and have shown serious adverse effects. The
child
’s health, whether physical or mental, becomes severely harmed. These harmful forms of
discipline
do not allow a
child
’s brain to develop properly and lead to serious consequences as the
child
ages. Many psychiatric patients have disorders which have been directly linked to their childhood of battering.
This
outweighs the argument of parents claiming that
this
is the best
form
of control. Overall,
this
idea of punishing a
child
by physical means is completely irrational and foolish.
This
essay argued that parents who believe that smacking children is the best
method
of
discipline
have a completely preposterous belief and in fact have a more harmful effect on the
child
. In my opinion, physical punishment of a
child
is completely unnecessary despite what parents believe and what a small percentage of studies have shown.
