Some people believe that residents are responsible for the place where they live to be clean and tidy. Others believe that government is the responsible. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

It is argued by some people that wherever people live, they should take the responsibility of making it tidy and clean. Others,
on the other hand
, think that
government
should own
this
task.
Although
I agree that
government
is responsible for every
state
, people should take care of their environments because they have direct contact with it. Some people argue that political leaders should ensure
cleanliness
of people's residential areas.
This
is because every
state's
Suggestion
state
government
is responsible for it, meaning they should be in charge of general
wellbeing
Suggestion
well being
of the masses.
For example
, the Imo
State
government
set up ENTRACO, a ministry
that is
saddled with the responsibility of cleaning the entire
state
.
This
has helped in maintaining
cleanliness
in the entire
state
.
Therefore
, every
state
leadership should take
this
responsibility.
On the other hand
, others argue that people should take care of their environments because they have direct contact with it. Individuals associate more with where they live, with or without the presence of their leaders.
For example
, I have lived in a three-bedroom apartment for nine years. Since
this
time, it has been my job to ensure the overall
cleanliness
of the compound without waiting for any
government
.
Moreover
, my family and I associate more with the internal stimuli.
Therefore
, people should clean their environments. In conclusion, despite the fact that governments are accountable for the wellness of its citizens, I support the view that it is every individual's job to ensure domestic and environmental
cleanliness
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
