It is becoming increasingly popular to have a year off between finishing school and going to university. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this?

Nowadays, many of the students often take a gap

after their schooling. Despite of the benefit to get some practical experience prior to the start of the

,

This
essay will discuss the benefits as well as the drawbacks of taking a break before initiating the professional studies.
First
of all, when the students take some
time
off before they actually start their professional
college
education, they plan to either travel or to work. In both of the cases, they get to learn numerous things that are very crucial in their following professional studies.
For instance
, the travelling teaches interaction with new people which later on proves helpful in the professional life.
Also
, the travel or work makes a person feel independent that no money can buy.
On the other hand
, along with the positive effects,

has several bad effects. While some of the students waste their

this
time

the momentum, which can create severe problems in their
college
education.
For example
, according to a report issued by The International Education Organization of India, out of the 2 million students in India, who missed a

college
studies, only 50000 students were able to complete their university education due to lack of concentration.
Such

trainings is growing significantly, it involves various merits as well as demerits that we have discussed in

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
