Some people think that it is beneficial for children to do paid work, while others think that it can be harmful for children. What are the advantages and disadvantages of children doing paid work.

 is debatable. While a good number of people are of the opinion that it is advantageous to children, other people have a contrary view. Children can benefit greatly from carrying out paid

 some disadvantages to be considered.

 of all, one of the important benefits of paid

 for children is that it helps them to appreciate the value of

 does not come cheap but through hard

 helps a child learn how to manage resources properly,

 for important projects in the future.

 children tend to lose focus and divert all their attention to the job rather than concentrate on doing well in their studies.

 may ultimately lead to poor performance and increase in failure rate in schools. Another downside of children in the workforce is that it potentially leads to child abuse.

, a child may be forced to take up specific jobs or responsibilities which are beyond their physical strength.

 could have a devastating effect on their health.
Finally
, children who engage in paid
work
 lack the opportunity to engage in extracurricular activities

 as sports, music, debates and other organized group activities where children are supposed to learn and develop wholesomely. In conclusion, the advantages of having children do

 are tremendous as outlined above, to mention a few;

, one cannot

 underestimate the likely negative consequences of paid

 on children.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.
