There is an on-going debate that the optimum method to compensate employees is to reward them based on their productivity. In my opinion, I completely agree that it is the best way to influence individuals to give their best at work.
To begin
with, it is now a way of life in most companies to attach remuneration to task achievement.
This
is due to the fact that most workers perform better knowing that a little more extra effort put into work, will translate to more money at the end of the day.
For instance
