Doctors, nurses and teachers make a great contribution to society and should be paid more than entertainment and sports celebrities. Do you agree or disagree?

Some would argue that health
caregivers
and teachers are playing a vital role in the development of a society and should be paid more than film stars and renowned athletes. I completely disagree with
this
opinion for several reasons explained in the following paragraphs.
To begin
with, film and sports celebrities go through arduous and rigorous efforts to earn their names and making themselves famous. Their success is the result of consistent hard work, dedication, devotion and getting out of their comfort zones.
In other words
, fame and reputation do not come to them overnight rather they spend multiple years on getting training from various coaches and academies. Undoubtedly, they start from scratch and reach to the heights of fame only through their commitment and never stopping endures. To illustrate, Tom Cruise, a Hollywood celebrity worked in multiple TV programs without getting paid and selected for a film as a protagonist after investing a decade of struggle

Therefore

Secondly
, everybody can be a doctor, lawyer or a teacher if they get all the prerequisites for these professions in the names of degrees, certificates and essential experiences.
However
, becoming a celebrity requires an additional characteristic which is the being bestowed with natural talent.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
