Many museums charge for admission while others are free. Do you think the advantages of charging people for admission to museums outweigh the disadvantages?

We often notice Museums, collecting Entrance
fee
,
although
there are a few Museums who actually asks to pay nothing. In my opinion, it is
good
Suggestion
best
to charge the entrants with nominal fees
instead
of allowing for free. The funds collected could be not only be used for maintenance, but
also
to promote Security.
To begin
with Pros, A Museum has to manage its own expenditure, which includes paying electricity, salaries for staff, maintaining hygiene etc., Usually government takes care of the welfare of the Museums, so the
fee
collected through the admissions could reduce the burden on the Taxpayers.
Additionally
,
this
attracts only the interested audience.
On the other hand
, there are a few people who would argue that the Government should only take care of the Museums and collect no fees from the Citizens. Collecting fees would reduce the number of visitors and the kills interest among the people.
Also
, poor enthusiasts who really cannot afford the entrance
fee
would get disappointed with the fees. To Summarize in my view, Museums can charge
admission
Suggestion
an admission fee
fee
which would help them in paying electricity, salaries for staff, maintaining hygiene, promote greenery etc.,
instead
of relying completely on the government funds.
