 has become an important aspect of our life. When the
internet
 came into existence, it brought a boom in the market. People were so shocked to see things they could do with the

 of the
internet
. In the past, a postman used to deliver the letters to our dear ones which used to take lots of time, but over the
internet
 we can email anyone sitting in any part of the world within seconds. We are able to connect to the entire world and share lots of information.
However
, there are many problems that occur because of the excessive
use
 of the
internet
,
first
this
 essay will discuss about them There is no denying the fact that it is a great source of knowledge, but as per the old saying, "Too much of something is bad" it applies to the
internet
 too. It contains all types of knowledge, bad and good. Some people
use
 the
internet
 to learn bad things, and those people become a threat to the nation. They
use
 the
internet
 to share vital data about a country's defence system and cause havoc by doing terror attacks. There should be proper monitoring of reports which are being shared. People
use
 online payment gateways to send and receive money, these gateways are believed to be secure for online transactions, but sometime they get hacked by hackers. They are able to steal sensitive details
such
 as credit card details
then
 they misuse it by performing transactions. Many people have lost their money in online scams and hacks. We should pay more attention while making an online transaction, we should never share the OTP or pin with anybody. To sum up, the
internet
 is wide like our universe. It has made the lives of human beings easy, but there are many problems that can occur because of it. People should be more focused while sharing information online. A simple email can become a nightmare if we don't pay attention to our actions while using the
internet
.
