In many countries, the government likes to spend more money on the arts. Some people agree with this. However, others think government should spend more on health and education. Discuss both sides and giver your opinion.

It is thought by some that the government should allocate more funds on the arts, while others think that more
money
should spend on other areas namely,
health
and
education
. In my opinion, a country’s administration should fund
money
in all crucial areas appropriately and
this
includes arts,
education
and
health
. On the one hand, government should invest
money
on arts, namely, painting, poetry, sculptures. Spending
money
on arts not only preserves country’s fine moments but
also
aids in the development of a country.
In other words
, encouraging art can help reduce unemployment as people engage in different activities of selling paintings, making dramas, publishing poetry. It
also
attracts tourists and helps improve the economy.
For example
, Taj Mahal in India is sculptured by 20,000 artists and is one of the main attractions today, which brings tourists from many countries in turn helps improve the economy.
On the other hand
, government should consider investing equally in
health
and
education
.
Firstly
, providing better
education
aids in understanding the importance of life and thereby decrease the crime as
education
teaches the difference between right and wrong.
In addition
,
education
also
reduces the poverty as people can come up with ideas to start a business or gain the ability to work smarter, which
also
contributes to the country’s revenue.
Secondly
, providing better
health
care helps improve the quality of life. It helps individuals to seek medical help at low cost and it is beneficial, especially, for
old
Suggestion
older
ages and people with a minimum income. In my opinion, a country should fund appropriately for all aspects that are required for a nation’s success and it may not be just arts or
education
. The decision should be made based on the people and their situation in the country and there should be a balance in doing
this
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
