Instagram, twitter and the list can go on. These are part of the social media, where everybody is able to create his own personal or even professional portfolio. It requires a couple of personal information,
such
as the name, surname, gender, age, e-mail address and a password. Though it may sound easy, it can get really complicated, as
this
cyber world can confuse a lot of people, with so many hackers and bad people. A lot of scam artists are using it
also
, and it is hard to recognize them because it is not working, like in real life where you meet people face to face. There are a lot of benefits with
this
so called connectivity, because we don’t have to fly two thousand miles
for example
, to meet somebody and have a chat, we can just simply get our phone and text them or even video call them. We should take in consideration the
last
couple of months, due to the global pandemic and the lockdowns we had the chance to observe and really appreciate what the social media is capable of. It was there all the time for all of us, to not lose touch with our loved ones. In conclusion, I would like to outpoint the fact that it can be really helpful, but given in the wrong hands it is one of the most dangerous tools one can have in the present.
