The news media has always been the source of information and medium of education for its viewers by keeping them informed about any new developments from a local up to international level. In my opinion, news channels must be informative and educational in nature. And their ability to report new incidents and new developments around the globe and act as a debate forum discussing critical issues, is what makes them informative and educational. Every news media house have their news reporter spread across the country, as well as stationed in other countries, providing live coverage and giving critical inputs to its viewers.

helps people to stay aware of their surroundings.

For example

, a news reporter sharing the live status of the number of disease infected people in their community and informing them about the essential precautionary measures, helps the viewers to get educated about the current situation.

In conclusion, TV news programs are educational and informative as they spread awareness by reporting new incidents and conduct debates on their shows which are educational in nature. In my opinion, news media act as a source of information and education for the masses.
