Some people agree with spending lots of money are large wedding while others think it is a waste of time what is your opinion.

Some people argue about the large amount of money spent on a wedding. In my opinion, it is an unnecessary expense, which can be avoided. Marriage is considered as an auspicious event in an individual life, particularly in India there are several rituals performed before the wedding, which
last
for several days.
As a result
, lots of money is spent on booking hotels and cooking food for the relatives. In some cases, the food cooked for the event is left uneaten, which is later thrown in the garbage bin.
For instance
, a recent study conducted by The National Health Organisation concluded that 35% of food cooked for
such
events are never consumed.
Moreover
, they may
also
cause land pollution.
In other words
, plastic dishes and cups are used for serving the relatives, which are only used once and are not recycled. The money utilised in grand weddings, can be donated to the NGO, which can
further
be utilised for the betterment of the society.
For instance
, a renowned businessman in India has spent 20 million US dollars on his son’s wedding, which may be a GDP of many small countries.
Also where
Accept comma addition
Also, where
India is considered to be a developing country, with poor infrastructure,
such
expenses on grand wedding can be utilised for uplifting and betterment of the society.
Also
besides
, it can be invested in building state of the art infrastructure in the health sector. In conclusion,
although
marriage is an important event for an individual, I believe that spending a fortune on
such
ceremony is a waste, as it can be utilised for betterment of people.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
