Advertising is all around us, it is an unavoidable part of everyone’s life. Some people say that advertising is a positive part of our lives while others say it is negative. Discuss both view and give your opinion.

The increasing advertising coverage has recently ratcheted up public interest in the impacts of adverts on people's lives. While many see
this
trend in a positive
light
, I believe that its disadvantages are weightier and deserve scrutiny.
This
essay attempts to shed
light
on both views. Admittedly, the benefits of advertising are indeed in plain sight. Adverts for, say, public services can shed
light
on health risks or national security, to name but a few, and market the social concept of importance to the general public.
Hence
, these should be seen as a positive
light
of advertising.
Second
, advertisements are
also
beneficial to consumer goods. To provide a supporting example, one need look no
further
than homemakers, who usually encounter time consuming daily tasks. With commercials informing them about assisting invention.

For
example, a portable electronic mixer
instead
of traditional manual whisks,
this
group's desire to work and efficiency can be significantly improved.
Conversely
, the negative ramifications of people being constantly bombarded by adverts are more significant. Adverts undeniably exert impacts on what people think, and
this
can produce consumerist mentality and possibly consumerist frenzy, causing people equate buying with increased happiness. In
this
aspect, advertising should be viewed as being bad for the moral and spiritual life of any society.
Moreover
, since advertising can create greater demand for consumer goods,
this
possibly has knock-on effects on the environment.
This
can be seen in the way more waste could be produced and more toxic fumes could be emitted through greater production and consumption of goods, speeding up the deterioration of the environment. In conclusion, despite certain advantages, the disadvantages of the advertisements are more considerable and advertising should be regarded as a negative part of life rather than a positive one.
