In many countries, a small number of people earn extremely high salaries. Some people believe that this is good for the country, but others think that governments should not allow salaries above a certain level. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

It is often argued that government should cap salaries for people on the top level in companies that are paid huge, or it is fair for the service they provide to the companies.
This
essay will discuss both the views and agree that there should be a fixed
limit
on the wages for top employees. There are two reasons why companies pay extremely high salary to their top level employees.
Firstly
, maximum wage attracts most talented people in the field to work for their
company
thereby help
company
Suggestion
the company
companies
grow.
For instance
, Google is able to hire the best programmers around the world due to the amount they pay.
Secondly
, higher salary motivates the worker and makes them work hard thereby ensuring success of the
company
.
For instance
, due to maximum wage workers at Google give their best which in turn increases companies revenue.
However
, I agree with the people who believe that there should be a
limit
to the amount an employer can pay.
This
limit
may help reduce the huge pay gap among the different levels of people working for the same
company
and

help

companies
the company

increase their minimum wage.
Moreover
,
this
can help bring improved quality of life.
For example
, Village named Auroville has exact same salary for every profession and
hence
people have equal respect for each other and have a great quality of life. In conclusion, I strongly believe that it is beneficial for society if the government sets a particular
limit
to the highest earners.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
