Schools can certainly play a role in fostering these qualities, but making parenting education a compulsory subject may not be practical or relevant for all students. Not every student will become a parent, and for those who do, the timing and context in which they need these skills will vary. Teaching parenting to young people who are not yet at a stage in life where they can fully understand or apply these lessons might not be the most effective use of educational resources.
