Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Other argue that it is better to try and improve such situations. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

People vary in their responses and the ways in which they adapt to life events and situations. While some individuals believe that the best way to adjust to an unfavourable condition is by conforming to it, others see that they can be better off if they attempt to improve that
situation
. In
this
essay, I will explicate both of the views and explain my own.
Firstly
, people normally accept a
situation
where they feel unsatisfied because that can be the only option they have. They tend to make their choice after having considered all the outcomes that can come about if they do not,
otherwise
, go with the flow. A Joe,
for example
, who is unsatisfied with his unsuitable
job but

job, but
has a family to look after, will have to maintain the source of income to cater for his family. In my view, it is only in
this

situation
that I would accept to keep my head low.
On the other hand
, there are other people who believe that there can always be an opportunity they can seize in order to meliorate an unacceptable
situation
. These people seem to consider a miserable condition as a challenge they have to overcome by making an effort and finding a way out.
In other words
,
such
people will look at an unsatisfying
situation
as a starting point towards finding solutions. Hard-pressed, an employee making low income can always look for other part-time job opportunities while making meagre money. I am personally in favour of
this
view, as I strongly believe that opportunity is always available and is awaiting to be found

However
, no matter how unacceptable a
situation
is, there can always be a chance to change for the better.
