Some people think that the government is wasting money on the arts and that this money could be better spent elsewhere?

The issue
that is
being disputed is if the arts should be backed by the state. Advocates for government expenditure on arts claim that the arts make a world of difference, whereas other people voice objections to funding the arts from the pockets of taxpayers and they are adamant that
this
amount of
money
should be directed elsewhere.
However
, I wholeheartedly believe that the arts are worth every penny
that is

spent
on them.
To begin
with, the arts are usually considered to be a part and parcel of a national heritage as for centuries they have been defining mentality and an image of a country. The arts are inextricably linked with the history,
hence
people should be concerned with imparting the knowledge and wisdom to future generations.
Therefore
, governments establish organizations and provide
such
organizations with
money
in order to preserve arts as a part of the national history in return, they exhibit artistic masterpieces of the past, stage plays to the end of enhancing the level of engagement of people, both locals and tourists, in
this
sphere. And the cost of maintenance is undertaken by the authorities,
that is
why entrance fee to most of the national museums are free of charge.
Thus
, the government puts

of efforts and
money
to preserve the arts in the form of museum exhibitions. Yet another merit of the arts is that they are a great example of entertainment. Lion’s share of tourists visit the Louvre every year as a consequence arts are
also
a lucrative business. A striking example in
this
case is a film industry, taking into consideration Hollywood and Disney. Their global box office revenue amounted to eleven-figured numbers. Revenue from Disney’s products soared to $7.3 billion globally. To sum it up, in order to let the arts flourish the government expenditure are necessary because arts themselves pay huge
money
for their project and
also
state funds make the arts more available for people. The arts boost the economy of the country and come in handy in many ways: starting from attracting visitors and businesses to revitalising places, creating new jobs and improving the livelihood of thousands people who base their careers

the arts.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
