Tourism is one of the fastest growing industries and contributes a great deal to economics around the world. However, the damage tourism can cause to local cultures and environment is often ignored. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Tourism
is widely known about the great benefit it provides in world’s economic growth. Some people believe that

tourism
has some negative impact on the countries, which will be discussed

Firstly
, one of the main reasons that tourists visit a country is to learn about their history, traditions and cultures.

Secondly
, the most important drawback of

of the environment. Tourists tend to forget about the environmental importance on their holidays. In 2019 a reporter in Spain, at the end of the
touristic
season, showed the un-aesthetic image of their beaches full of plastic bottles and bags. It is important to note that later that year the same reporter stated that more than two months of continuous hard work were required to clean the places and sea in order to be sure that it will not cause any burden to the ecosystem. . Countries day by day lose their cultural uniqueness and unfortunately if no intervention is foreseen in near future regarding the environment, a significant climate change could change the stability of the world.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
