Governments should spend money on railways rather than roads. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

In my opinion, the ministry has to invest more bucks on constructing railways
instead

of roads, because, railways would be more secure and safe when compared to roads.
For example

, many countries like UK and United States, prefer to

by subway, because they could save lots of

in travelling. In
this

busy world, no one wants to waste
time

on travelling. One more reason is, they are cost effective. The cost of subways is pretty low when compared to fuel or gas cost. Though, people have many options for travelling, still they opt for railway transport because of there on

arrival. Upon that, most of the countries provide them monthly and annual passes, which is quite beneficial for people.
Furthermore

, travelling by roads is always a risk factor. Though, roads are very widespread and spacious, the rate of accidents is

high.
On the other hand

, the traffic would

be high in the populated countries. One of the reasons for
this

is, every individual would prefer to

by their own vehicle, resulting in a lot of pollution and traffic jam on roads. On the whole, government should invest more on building railways. If people see more flexibility in railways, definitely they would prefer to

it would benefit people to

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
