The development of tourism contributed English becoming the most prominent language in the world. Some people think this will lead to English becoming the only language to be spoken globally. What are the advantages and disadvantages to having one language in the world?

The increase in international tours can be considered as one of the key elements in English becoming a popular language. People do have mixed opinions about, it becomes a solo mode of the communication.
This
is true up to a certain level.
However
, there are many advantages and disadvantages which we will discuss
further
in details. By far the most important gain from using single mode to communicate is creating a global citizen. The global citizen has advantage to travel, work and live in multiple countries.
For example
, When travelling to Europe even if there are different countries speak different mother tongues, but the Global traveller just needs to know only one language
that is
the English. One more factor which favours that, it is very easy to learn and speak.
For instance
, as compared with other mother tongues, it only consists of twenty eight alphabets to learn. So even if you are new to the topic, but still you can recognize it very easily.
On the other hand
, there are few negative factors with it as well.
Firstly
, mother tongue represents local people, their culture. It reminds us about where we came from. But slowly due to development and globalization, local language is becoming extinct.
For example
, most of the humans in the north and south America region are losing the original method of communication. There is a simple solution to
this
issue. Government will play a very important role In order to reduce negative affect. By initiating events and festivals to boost local community involvement. As a conclusion, we can clearly see the huge impact what development can have on the method in which people speak, but somehow society and legal bodies need to keep the culture alive through various channels.
