Technology allows food to be produced in greater quantities at lower prices. Some people believe this is a positive development, while others feel that the change is harmful. Discuss both views and give your own opinions.

Today, we are observing the growing use of
technology
in the agriculture. We are seeing better yield in the plants grown with the help of smart machinery; bumped in yield
also
results in lower prices of the
food
. In
this
essay we will discuss both the views about positive and negative aspect of
technology
used in agriculture.
First
of all, we are seeing a sharp increase in the use of machinery in agriculture because of its effectiveness. Machinery can help you choose a suitable plant; it can
also
help you monitor the weather and it can
also
advise you on the growth cycle of a specific plant.
This
has been some breathtaking achievements already;
this
advance change is enabling farmers to take correct decision at an appropriate time. The cumulative effect of
this
advancement is better yield, meaning; increased profit margins for the farmers, lower
food
prices, etc. We have
also
noticed that due to the reduced prices because of technological machines has helped in overcoming hunger and poverty in the modern world.
On the contrary
, I
also
accept the facts that
technology
also
has negative effects on the plant kingdom. According to the recent survey, a human body is more prone to disease if they consume
food
grown with the use of modern electronics for a brief period of time.
For example
, we have seen the rise in cancer cases over
last decade
Suggestion
the last decade
and after a good introspection we came to that
technology
is one of the main reasons.
Although
, it is not only the plants and homo sapiens that are being affected with the smarter machines, but it has adversely affected the animals as well. In
this
essay, from technological perspective; on one hand there are positive effects like, profit for farmers, reduced hunger and reduction in poverty while
on the other hand
, there are negative effects like rise in cancer cases, rising animal deaths and much more. In my opinion, if used in a right way;
technology
has very positive effects and can help us to solve our fundamental problems of
food
, farmer income and overall healthy ecosystem.
