It is possible to help all people in the world, so governments should only focus on people in their own countries. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Many people claim that governments should only
support
their local citizens
instead
of helping residents in their own countries. While it is true that the government need to focus on their own people, I believe it is
also
possible to provide
support
for others around the world.
To begin
with, there are some reasons why governments should help people in their own nations.
Firstly
, because of an increasing number of homeless people in local communities
such
as people who do not have their own houses to live under bridges or metro stations, authorities should prioritize to help improvised people who cannot afford shelters.
For example
, the government could provide public houses and free food.
Secondly
, due to transitional
economy
, the unemployment rate has increased dramatically.
For instance
, in Vietnam, the labour-intensive
economy
has developed to knowledge-based
economy
that required many of educated employees.
Therefore
, authorities should take care of unemployment seriously.
However
, I would argue that we can
also
support
civilians coming from other parts of the world.
First
, because there are a great number of undeveloped countries where citizens live in a poor standard of living
such
as Haiti or Ethiopia, governments of developing nations need to
support
these poorer countries.
This
might help them overcome difficult situations.
For example
, when people in African countries are dying from curable diseases, richer countries could donate medicines and provide medical
support
.
Additionally
, diplomacy plays an essential role in the growth of
economy
Suggestion
the economy
.
For instance
, Japan usually provides untied loans for many developing countries.
This
could improve diplomatic relations between nations and make sure the sustainable development of countries. In conclusion, it is true that governments could
support
their citizens, I believe it is
also
possible to help people in the world.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
