Men do most of the high level jobs. Should the government encourage a certain percentage of jobs to be reserved for women? What your opinion on that?

In Today era, Men and Women both are working in different sectors but it is true that the highest authority jobs like a CEO are still being handled by men. In my opinion, the
government
should reserve a certain percentage of jobs for women, but in some areas and sectors because employees should be hired based on their potential and skills.
Firstly
, all the companies either it is a new startup company or a Multi National Company, all hire employee based on the skills they have and how much they are able to do a particular job or how suitable they are for a particular
position
. If the Women want to handle the higher
position
they have to upgrade their skills and make them capable to handle the higher
position
like Men. To give a clear example, Indra Gandhi was the Prime Minister of India, Kalpana Chawla was the
first
women that landed on the moon. If a woman has the capability, she can achieve anything she wants.
Secondly
, Many people believe that it would be good if
government
reserved some seats for women as in some rural areas girls are still not getting proper education and getting married in early age.
This
is exemplified that there are about 20% rural areas in India where girls are getting married at early age and not being sent to high school because the mentality of people living in
such
area is that there is no usage of educating the girls as she only going to become the domestic engineer and we can change their mindset only by reserving seats for women so that they can understand the value of educating a women.
Moreover
, there are some sectors where only men can work.
For instance
, Marketing and Mechanical Engineering are the fields where only men are working. Admittedly, if
government
reserved seats for women, it would be chances that it can cause loss to the company if the employee don't have the required skills.
Also
,
this
would increase the discrimination for men and the chances of getting higher
position
even they deserved it. As an illustration, the girl is getting promotions even she don't deserve and don't have the necessary skills required for the job. Later on, it will cause a drastic loss the company.
Last
but not the least, the reason that women are not doing the high authority job is that most women quit their jobs after getting married as they have to do a lot of work in their house and in result they become a homemaker even they are educated or have higher skills. Alternatively, some women are doing jobs, even after getting married and handling Management positions. As an illustration, The HR Manager in the Wipro Technologies, which is MNC is Veni Matthew,
although
she is married, she is handling her
position
very well and is the motivation for many women. To conclude, the women should be well educated and skilled if they want to do high-level jobs.
Additionally
, the
government
also reserve
Suggestion
also reserves
the seats for women in rural areas for high authority jobs, their mentality for not educating the girls would be changed and they will understand the value of educating the girls so that a woman can become independent and will get the equality and that would
also
increase the women empowerment.
