Some old people today struggle with the use of modern technologies such as smartphones and computers. What is the cause of this? What are some possible solutions?

Science and technology have been growing exponentially in the recent years. Human beings have used new technologies
such
as mobile phones and laptops which has become the inevitable part of life. Older people are
also
not an exception to it and are forced to
use
the technology up to an extent and struggling with the
use
of these gadgets. The reasons of their struggle and possible solutions will be outlined in the following paragraphs. The main issue is related to their grasping power at an older

. It is difficult for them to understand its technicalities. A few features of the mobile phones are too technical that people usually do not
use
them and
use
the phone only for calling purpose. Another persuasive reason is the

For example
, only 10% of users are more than 60 years of age who can
use
computers, laptops and mobile devices. The efficacious solution to the problem is to make the electronic devices easy to

The younger generation
Younger generations
can encourage their parents and relatives to
use
the phones and share the benefits of using few features
such
as emails and Whatsapp which make their life easy.
For instance
, most of the elders are using the new technologies for video callings and Whatsapp after being trained by their children and grandchildren. In conclusion, old age is struggling with the usage of technological advancements. The reasons of
this
issue are their low grasping capability and lack of
interest
in learning new things and the possible solutions to these issues can be the user friendly gadgets by the companies and the motivation and
interest
creation in them.
