Some people believe that violent films are bad for you and encourage people to be violent. Others argue that violence and films are unrelated because violence existed before the films.

In today’s changing world the
content
of cinema is
also
changing rapidly. Movies based on different genre are made and are easily accessible to everyone. Few individuals believe that violent movies have a negative influence on people and encourage them to become violent while others believe that
violence
and movies are very different from one another. I completely disagree with the notion that films can encourage people to pursue
violence
because I think it is fallacious. The influence of films entirely depends on how one perceives the
content
and not on the
content
itself. The sole purpose of movies is to entertain you and transfer you to the director’s imaginative world for a short period of time. Any smart individual would know that the movies are not real and merely meant for entertainment purposes.
For example
, an actor who goes around killing people in movies single
handedly
is unreal. A person cannot do that in real life, neither does one have the strength, nor the capability to pull that kind of stunt alone. The
behavior
manner of acting or controlling yourself
behaviour
of an individual depends on the upbringing and values that a person has received while growing up. There is always a reason why people opt for
violence
which needs to be understood.
This
reason can often be co-related to their childhood experiences.
For example
, parents make their children aware of the unreal world of entertainment and teach them how not to get influenced by these visuals.
Therefore
, it is advisable that children should watch violent movies under parental guidance. To conclude, I completely disagree with the thought that
violence
shown in movies can encourage people to opt for violent
behavior
manner of acting or controlling yourself
behaviour
. Violent
behavior
manner of acting or controlling yourself
behaviour
depends on the upbringing and values a person has received in their lifetime and the influence of films entirely depends one’s perception not the
content
of the film itself.
Thus
, blaming movies for the
violence
people commit is outright ignorant.
