Some people think it would be better if the whole family (uncles, aunts and grandparents) are involved in bringing up children rather than only parents. What is your opinion?

Family plays an important role in one’s life. Now, a child’s family in layman’s terms, are his parents and external family, encompassing his grandparents, uncles and aunts. Though it is often debated that relatives should be involved in teaching children rather than parents only, after all, both sides have its merits and consequences in upbringing their children.
First
off, it is critical and right for parents to educate their children from birth.
For example
, they are the
first
hand teachers to reprimand and correct their child’s rights and wrongs till they are old enough to tell the difference. Though it might be harsh for him, but it is his parents good intentions for his well-being. The nurture, care and concern showered from them is a way of showing their love for him.
In addition
, it is a known fact that most of the time, children depend on their parents the most for support and comfort.
For example
, after having a bad day at school, parents are their children’s listening ear. Henceforth, it proves that the children upbringing into society are dependent on his parents. Yet, grandparents play a part in the influence of guiding their grandchildren as well.
For instance
, though parents have the choice of hiring a babysitter when they are
coped
Suggestion
coping
up with their uptight schedule, it is commonly observed that they entrust the child in the care of grandparents. Other than providing the same amount of love the parents have for him, staying with his grandparents leads to inculcating values and behaviours one could hardly instill from their busy parents.
Furthermore
, it allows the grandchildren to mix around and socialise with his cousins as well as his uncles and aunts.
Instead
of being comfortable with just their parents, bonds are forged within the family, resulting in a closer relationship with each other. Simply put, in time these children ought to step out of their comfort zone and socialise with others in the community.
Therefore
, it is conclusively clear that external families can
also
provide the fundamentals of these values, indirectly impacting these children. To conclude, the role of one’s parents is definitely vital in educating their children.
Although
the case, in my opinion, I strongly feel that in fact, external families hold a much more important role in bringing up their children.
Nevertheless
, one should always remember the values taught by his family.
