Some think Government spending on Infrastructure (Transport, Housing etc) is considered the most important for a nation. While others believe that Education, Health and HR values to be more important areas for government expenditure. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Some people believe that the expenditure on developmental activities are more significant, while others feel that funds utilised on healthcare, education and people are more essential for a state. In my opinion, I believe that funds utilised on public
welfare
such
as healthcare, education and people are more essential than the developmental activities.
This
essay will discuss both side's arguments, followed my opinion on public
welfare
. The public
welfare
should be at the highest priority to any state as these are very basic and essential for everyone. Providing better healthcare to the public will enable them to keep healthy which will have a positive effect on their lifestyle and

in any sector.
Likewise
, education plays an important role in nation building. It enables more people to acquire knowledge and skills
in particular
field which ultimately have a positive effort on their productivity and have a good lifestyle.
For example
, a person who graduate from a university with good skills and employed in any sector indirectly contribute to the development of that sector.
On the other hand
, developmental activities
such
as infrastructure, transportation, housing will enable public to have a good environment, easy access to places or can travel without any connectivity issue, and good facilities to people etc.
However
, it will significantly rise the borrowings of the government, which ultimately have more negative effect on public like higher tax collection, security issues etc.
Thus
, it is always good to build a nation from what we have rather than borrowing from other sources. In conclusion, it is essential to prioritise the public
welfare
rather than developmental activities as public
welfare

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
