It is better for young to get an advice from old people than young people. Do you agree or disagree?

It is widely believed that consulting with older people is more advantageous for the younger generation than
this
with their peers. In my opinion,
although
older people are experienced people, in most modern situations their
knowledge
may be too outdated for the right advice, while young people live in the same time with us and have the same background which makes them more suitable. Historically, it has been accepted that old people are the wisest people due to the experience of their long-living life.
However
, we live in an ever - changing time when all the information become quickly outdated.
That is
why in the large number of situations related to modern world the recommendations from the elderly people can be not relevant due to the substantial divide between generations. Meanwhile, when the question is about life chores, our grandparents can be the best advisors with life-oriented
knowledge
. The great example is when having to cook some dishes it is more likely to ask for help our older members of
family
Suggestion
the family
a family
as we understand that their skills in that sphere are similar or even better than those of professional cooks owning to the experience of their life.
On the other hand
, getting advices from young people who obtain relevant
knowledge
to the issue is more beneficial.
In other words
, our peers may have
also
been in the same situation and due to the similar variables happening in the same time, they are more competent.
Furthermore
, it has always been easier to communicate with our peers because we feel comfortable to share sincere details and emotions with them.
As a result
, they are capable of seeing the whole situation to give the relevant advice. To conclude, advices from
the old
Suggestion
older
people can be beneficial for youngsters only in case of the situations that doesn’t depend on the up-to-date
knowledge
. Communication with our peers is in our comfort zone that might create the best environment for addressing the problem.
